Some have proclaimed this the finest Pacific Coast day hike in the Lower 48.  The trail started pleasantly crossing Ozette River from the outset into forest, and elevated by wooden planks over bog for majority of the 3 miles course.

Coast line was reached at one hour after low tide but her beauty was obscured by a thick fog.
